This is the first time that the Dongliao River has reached the national river water quality standard in the dry season in the first quarter since the establishment of Heqing section monitoring in 1986.

　　 In the dry season when the river water quality is the worst throughout the year, it is measured as Category IV water, and the water quality in the wet season will be better. Therefore, this means that the Dongliao River will bid farewell to at least 35 years of history of inferior to Grade V water.
